Students who choose to pursue this dual major will find many employment opportunities working with individuals who are facing life transitions or social and emotional challenges. Specifically, students will be prepared to work in a variety of social service settings with an under-served segment of the population-individuals who are Deaf and who use the language of the Deaf Community, American Sign Language
Requirements
Students can choose to work on a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services. Both programs have most of the same requirements, the major difference being the language requirement for Bachelor of Arts candidates. Students also have the opportunity to dual major in American Sign Language and Human Services.
