The Multimedia Studies dual major unites the worlds of art, music composition, design, and technology. It offers students in the Art & Architecture and Music departments the opportunity to understand and experience the disparate disciplines that contribute to multimedia creation. It focuses equally on the issues that govern digital art and music and the creation of sound and image. The major exposes students to the historical significance of changing technology and media. It prepares students to integrate their creative work with the skills they will need in the rapidly growing field of multimedia production.
