Our Programs
There are approximately 20 interdisciplinary programs within the College of Arts and Sciences and negotiations are ongoing to develop new undergraduate programs. The interdisciplinary programs of the College of Arts and Sciences are freestanding majors, dual majors, and/or minors and concentrations. This vast array permits students the flexibility:
- to design their interdisciplinary studies.
- to complete full or abbreviated (as with dual majors) department-based majors.
- to stand alone as major areas of study.
- to explore the boundaries at the cutting edge of existing disciplines to explore areas of secondary or personal interest while preparing for a career path either in Arts & Sciences or in one of the professional colleges at Northeastern.
