Northeastern offers an interdisciplinary minor in Asian studies with a focus on East Asian studies. Within the concentration, students may choose a language track (Chinese or Japanese) or a non-language track.
The program includes courses in history, politics, music and religion. Faculty from other departments address issues of health and law in the Asian community. A new course, "Introduction to East Asian Studies," gives students an overview of this field of study.
