The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at Northeastern University was created in the College of Arts & Sciences to act as a resource and umbrella for the undergraduate and graduate interdisciplinary programs in the College. Through the Center, the College of Arts and Sciences offers students the opportunity to study in a broad range of interdisciplinary programs suited to their curricular or career objectives and also permits students to design their own independent programs of study. The Center is a resource for students who want to obtain more information about the various interdisciplinary programs at the Center, apply for interdisciplinary scholarship opportunities, join our affiliated academics organizations, and participate in our innovative community partnerships.

The Center also supports and coordinates the individual programs. The Center assists the programs with brochure and website development, by scheduling new courses, hiring interdisciplinary faculty, creating linkages between the programs, developing new programs and courses, and event coordination.

The Center is Located in 1 Nightengale Hall
